Relationship and prenuptial agreements

Picture

Irrespective of how many relationships start, it is a fact that many relationships end in separation or divorce.  It is of utmost importance that a definition be placed upon how assets held either individually or collectively by the parties be dealt with in a happy relationship or in the event of a breakdown in the relationship.

The drafting of such an agreement requires skill, diplomacy and a good understanding of your requirements to ensure that the desired outcomes are achieved should a separation occur.

It is also importanat to update any relationship agreement from time to time.  An at the start of a relationship may not necessarily meet your needs after severl years.  When purchasing  or selling property, land or businesses, consider reviewing your relationship / prenuptial agreement.

Our legal team is able to assist with setting up Relationship Property Agreements and Separation Agreements.
